Century Japan has expanded its series of USB LCD companion displays. Novelty is called Plus One LCD-8000UD and it has represents an 8-inch LCD display with a resolution of 800 x 600 pixels, with a USB interface in addition to another port and DVI.
Century Plus One LCD-8000UD allows user to connect the display to a computer via USB port, or use more than the usual DVI output. Among other things, the two interfaces makes it possible to connect to the Plus One LCD-8000UD display just two computers, but cannot use it on two machines simultaneously.
Century Plus One LCD-8000UD mini-display has automatically adjusts the configuration of the system and eliminates the need for additional software and drivers. Using DVI interface can reduces the burden on the central processing computer. Century Plus One LCD-8000UD mini-display should appear on sale in August and its cost is 16,500 yen (about $174).
