Chair made from old keyboards, UMUL workshop

For the UMUL (Use More, Use Less) project in 2009, the designers Dante Bonuccelli Lamm and the Text-ile chair made. This chair is for the most part from the keys of old keyboards.

To be precise, the entire seat made of keyboards. The result is a unique and good looking seating. And it does not just look good, but because he makes use of old materials in a sense, he is also good for the environment.

It seems it is even very comfortable to be. A nice extra is the fact that the pattern of the seat is exactly the same as a regular QWERTY keyboard. For the text-ile chair only one concept. It is debatable whether this chair ever production is taken.

Is keyboard furniture the next memory foam?
