CherryPal is preparing to release another $99 netbook/smartbook, called CherryPal Asia.
Previously, CherryPal had introduced $99 netbook in December last year called CherryPal Africa. It sports a 400MHz processor and runs Windows CE or Linux. Now, the CherryPal Asia is added Google Android 1.6 OS and powered by a 533MHz ARM9 ARM Cortex A9-based processor.
CherryPal Asia netbook/smatbook packs 2GB of flash storage, 256MB of RAM, three USB 2.0 ports, and a 7 inch display with 800 x 480 pixel resolution.
The CherryPal also has offers a 10.1-inch display version with price tag $148.
