Color e-paper display, only in 2010

According to DigiTimes, Prime View International (PVI) did not produce a color display based on electronic paper until 2010. This company produces e-ink/e-paper displays are used in most electronic books, including the Amazon Kindle and Sony Reader. On that issue of color displays postponed until next year, said the head of PVI Scott Liu. According to him, the company has not yet reached a satisfactory outcome to begin mass production of color displays based on electronic paper.

In addition, Scott Liu said that by the end of this year, a new e-book will release by Sony. It will be equipped with a display larger than the current version. New E-book reader from Sony will be focused mainly on competition with the recent Amazon Kindle DX. Diagonal display at the new Amazon e-book reader is 9.7 inches.
