CompuLab Fit-PC2, world’s smallest Atom Nettop
CompuLab is specializing in the development of miniature PC, released Fit-PC2 nettop. The model is rightly claims the title of the smallest nettop based on the Intel Atom in the world. The size of the device is 101x115x27 mm and weight about 307 grams.
CompuLab Fit-PC2 is based on Intel Atom Z530 processor with a clock speed of 1.6 GHz or Atom Z510 with 1.1 GHz clock frequency of your choosing. This nettop brings Intel US15 chipset, 1GB DDR2-533 memory, 2.5-inch hard disk or solid-state drive (SSD), a slot for miniSD memory card, 6x USB 2.0 ports 2 on the front and 4 on the back, and the DVI-output. Connectivity includes Wi-Fi (802.11 b / g), it has the same connector Ethernet.
CompuLab Fit-PC2 has fanless, aluminum case effectively dispels heat, and this solution provides low noise system. In terms of energy use Fit-PC2 operates in such a way that during normal operation it consumes up to 6W, and in view HD 1080p H.264 video less than 8 Watts.
Fit-PC2 comes with Windows XP or Ubuntu Linux as the choice of the user. Fit-PC2 Nettop has been on sale in Japan. Its value to the Japanese market is 42,800 Yen (about $ 437).
