Cooler Master Centurion 5 II chassis, improvements
Cooler Master has introduced their second generation Ceturion 5 chassis. It is called Centurion 5 II and executed in mid-tower form factor with a number of improvements. These include increased capacity of compartments for storage, improved ventilation or airflow and new easy-to-install features.
Cooler Master Centurion 5 II Chassis will be available in two versions, with or without a side window, which is in black or black/silver color scheme. Cooler Master Centurion 5 II is made of steel and weighs 7.5 kg with dimensions of 202x440x485 mm.
New Cooler Master Centurion 5 II chassis comes with four outer 5.25-inch bays, five 3.5-inch bays, as well as a special adapter that allows installing two 2.5-inch or 1.8-inch drives into one 3.5-inch bay.
Also, Cooler Master Centurion 5 II chassis has brings an I/O panel including USB 2.0, eSATA, audio and optionally FireWire ports. Cooler Master Centurion 5 II chassis is equipped with a special hole for easy CPU cooler installation. It has two fans, a 140mm fan with blue LED backlight (1200rpm/19 dBA) on the front and a 120mm fan (1200rpm/17 dBA) on the back.
Release date or pricing is not reported but it should appear in the near future.
