Corsair Extreme SSDs, high-speed in 2.5-inch
Corsair, famous for its high-quality solutions based on flash memory cards, has expanded its line of high-speed SSD with a new Extreme series. The new SSD are based on MLC NAND flash memory from Samsung and equipped with high-performance controller from Indilinx. Through the use of such high quality components, the maximum speed of reading and writing in Corsair Extreme is 240MB/s and 170MB/s, respectively.
Corsair Extreme SSD has implemented in the 2.5 inches form factor and it is equipped with a connection SATA II interface. They are available in versions with a capacity of 32GB (X32), 64GB (X64) and 128GB (X128), each of which supports optimization for flash drives present in Windows 7 and some other operating systems. The cost of new Corsair Extreme SSD has not yet been reported, but the manufacturer promises to their appearance in the sale as soon as possible.
