Corsair Extreme X256 Series SSD with 256GB

Corsair announced new high-capacity SSD of 256 GB in their series of Extreme high-performance. The new Corsair Extreme X256 Series has created on the basis of a modernized Indilinx Barefoot controller, a SATA 3.0 Gbps interface, and Samsung MLC NAND flash memory, combines high-speed data transmission with high capacity is 256 GB. As the producer, this makes them a good solution for technical enthusiasts who are not ready to sacrifice either performance or disk space.

New Corsair Extreme X256 Series SSD complement the existing line, which already includes X32, X64 and X128 models. Read speed is 240 MB/s and writing is up to 170 MB/s. Corsair X256 SSD include a cache memory of 64MB, providing performance without delay.

All Corsair Extreme Series SSDs provide an opportunity to users to update firmware, adding new features such as support for the team TRIM Windows 7 and other operating systems that allows maintaining the optimum performance of the drive.
