Corsair Nova and Reactor, also prepares 3.5-inch SSD
Corsair is preparing release new solid state drive (SSD) for desktop computers, workstations, and laptops.
According to source, in the near future, Corsair releases its first 3.5-inch SSD that will be included in Performance series. The upcoming Corsair 3.5-inch SSD will have a capacity of 512GB, 128 MB cache, speed of reading and writing data up to 240MB/s and 200MB/s, respectively.
For laptop and compact computers, Corsair will offer 2.5-inch SSD, known as Corsair Nova and Corsair Reactor. The Corsair Nova family will be offered in versions with capacity 64GB and 128GB, read speed up to 215MB/s, write speed up to 195MB/s (130MB/s for 64GB model), and 64 MB of cache.
Corsair Reactor SSD has features a 60GB/120 GB of capacities, read/write speed up to 250MB/s and 170MB/s, 128 MB of cache, and added mini-USB connector.
All Corsair SSDs will be manufactured based on MLC (multi-level cell) NAND Flash memory chips and Serial ATA II (SATA 3.0 Gbps) interface.
The cost of Corsair SSDs is depending on the type and capacity, range from 150 EUR to 1400 EUR.
