Corsair Nova SSD added 32GB and 256GB

Corsair has added its solid state drives (SSD) lineup, the Corsair Nova SSD, which is introduces two new models – 32GB and 256GB of capacity.

The Corsair Nova SSDs are made based on the MLC NAND flash memory and Serial ATA II (SATA 3.0 Gbps) interface. It is supports TRIM in Windows 7 feature and an Indilinx Barefoot controller.

Corsair Nova 32GB SSD is delivers speed of reading up to 195 MB/s and up to 75 MB/s in write. Corsair Nova 256GB SSD provides transfer speed up to 250 MB/s in read and up to 195 MB/s in write.

The Corsair Nova SSD series is made in 2.5-inch form factor and designed for use in notebook and compact desktops. Corsair also offers 64GB and 128GB version.

Corsair Nova SSD should be available with expected price of $100 for 32GB and $725 for 256GB model.
