Cowon has officially announced to launch its new touch-enabled PMP in Japan on July 12th. New device is called the Cowon iAUDIO 9+ that available in a range of models. Company will offering this portable media player in three capacities: 8GB, 16GB, and 32GB.
The Cowon iAUDIO 9+ PMP has a 2-inch display with QVGA (320-by-240 pixel) resolution and a capacitive touchpad to easy operate menu / navigation. This handheld media player is built-in a 30mW headphone amplifier along with a microphone and FM radio. Moreover, the iAUDIO 9+ is capable to record voice and also broadcasts. Furthermore, it is equipped with a video connector, which is a cable sold separately.
Cowon iAUDIO 9+ promises a respectable 29 hours of audio playback, while video is about 7 hours. Weighing just 40grams, this portable media player has dimensions of 95 x 43 x 8.9 mm. Reportedly, it delivers high quality professional sound through a variety of 48-type EQ presets.
For Japanese market, the Cowon iAUDIO 9+ 2-inch PMP will debut on price of 11,800 Yen (about $118) on 8GB model (white color), 13,800 Yen (around $138) for 16GB (black) and 16,800 Yen (about $168) on 32GB unit (black color).
