Cowon V5 PMP in Russia
Cowon has introduced stylist HD portable media player, Cowon V5, in Russia. The announcement of Cowon V5 PMP was in late December last year.
A key feature of the new Cowon V5 is the ability to play HD video (1280×720 pixels at 30 frames per second). Cowon V5 player allows display “high definition” content to compatible TVs and monitors with HDMI port. It is supported formats include AVI, WMV, ASF, MP4, MKV, MPG/MPEG, DAT, TS, TP, TRP, M2TS and 3GP (video), MP3/2/1, WMA, OGG, WAV, ASF, FLAC, TTA, APE, MPC, and WV (audio), as well as JPG, BMP, PNG, TIF and RAW (graphics). In addition, Cowon V5 can display text documents and flash games.
Cowon V5 is equipped with 4.8-inch touchscreen with 480×800 pixels (WVGA), 8GB/16GB/32 GB of integrated memory, voice recorder, notepad, calculator and games collection. It was reported earlier that the Cowon V5 player is also equipped with an application to read RSS Feed and a SD memory card slot. Cowon V5 PMP has feature audio system including BBE+ (from BBE Sound) and JetEffect 3.0.
Cowon V5 has battery that enabling up to 45 hours of music playback and up to 10 hours in video playback. It is running on Windows CE 6.0. Dimensions of Cowon V5 are 128x82x15.7 mm and weight is 197g. Cowon V5 will be available in white, black and silver color.
