Cricket Wireless US mobile operator introduced a new CAPTR camera phone, which supports networks CDMA2000 1x. New Cricket CAPTR is positioned as the cheapest camera phone, offer Cricket Wireless subscribers. The cost of the CAPTR camera phone is $79.99 after a $50 instant discount.

Cricket CAPTR Phone is executed in the clamshell form factor, equipped with 0.3-megapixel camera with digital zoom, Bluetooth, miniUSB port, 2.5mm headphone connector, 1.8-inch TFT display with resolution 128×160 pixels and 262K colors, and external 1-inch CSTN screen with resolution 96×96 pixels and 65K colors.

The Cricket CAPTR battery has a capacity of 920 mAh with Lithium Ion battery; it provides up to 250 hours in standby mode and up to 5 hours in talk time. Cricket CAPTR camera phone has dimensions 3.54×1.81×0.74 inch (HxWxD) and weight 2.82 oz (with standard battery).
