Unlike most mini-computers with ARM-based chip, SolidRun has unveiled its miniature PC, the CuBox Pro packed by an 800MHz Marvell Armada 510 processor. It is usual to run on desktop Linux software (Debian or Ubuntu).
The new CuBox Pro has similar design as the previous model comes with 2 x 2 x 2 inches and its weighs around 3 ounces. Inside, there are 2GB of RAM (instead of 1GB on first model).
The little computers has a microSD card slot that support for up to 64GB in size (bundled with 4GB card). In connectivity term, CuBox Pro is equipped with an eSATA, micro USB, and two USB ports, HDMI output, and an optical SPDIF output.
Other features are infrared receiver, and support for 1080p HD video playback, which can be act as low-power media PC.
CuBox Pro tiny PC will be available later in this month for price at $160.
