Dane-Elec announced its new external HDD and SSD, So SuperSpeed HDDs and SSDs, supporting high-speed USB 3.0. Thanks to this new drives for maximum data transfer rate up to 250 Mbps.
New Dane-Elec So SuperSpeed external hard drive includes hard drive in the 2.5-inch and 3.5-inch form factor, whose capacity ranges from 500GB to 2TB. In addition, a new family includes two SSD with a capacity of 80GB and 160GB, which actually represent re-branded as Intel M-25 drives.
Dane-Elec So SuperSpeed external HDD is designed to store large amounts of information, including photos, music and videos, and can be used in small office and home environment. In addition, since most existing laptops and PCs do not support the new USB 3.0 interface, Dane-Elec provide appropriate adapters for PCIe or ExpressCard.
So SuperSpeed External Hard Drive will go on sale in December 11. The cost of Dane-Elec So SuperSpeed external hard drive will be start with $180 for a 500GB HDDs, while the SSD of 80GB and 160GB are $400 and $800 respectively.
