Dell introduced New PowerEdge servers
Dell introduced five new models of blade servers, servers in tower and servers for installation in a standard rack, constructed on the basis of a family of Intel® Xeon® 5500 series processors. These PowerEdge servers 11th generation will help companies achieve more with less effort, making it easy to work, increasing productivity and energy efficiency, and reducing total cost of ownership of infrastructure, data centers.
As the number of new servers, Dell PowerEdge blade servers include M610 and M710 for the M1000e chassis, R710 and R610 for installation in standard rack server and T610 in the tower server. In the coming months, Dell also will release two-socket PowerEdge Servers T710, R410 and T410.
PowerEdge servers in 11th generation tools are built Dell Unified Server Configuration-based LifeCycle Controller. This new technology simplifies system management, many common IT processes such as installation, diagnostics, upgrade and configuration. Unified Server Configuration provides permanent, built-in server controls with a single access point, do not require distribution to the media. As the manufacturer, Dell PowerEdge R710 server is deployed at 43% faster than the nearest competitor servers with pre-configured operating system.
In addition, Dell PowerEdge servers are the 11th generation technologies include Energy Smart, which reduce energy consumption, while increasing productivity. Among the improvements include optimized for the system requirements for power supplies with high efficiency, improved server management of energy and cooling, on the basis of standardized components and highly efficient Energy Smart. Compared with the previous generation Dell PowerEdge servers with the PowerEdge Energy Smart design can save up to 48 Watts of energy. According to Dell, for the lifetime of each server Dell PowerEdge customers can save electricity more than $ 200. In addition, performance per watt server Dell PowerEdge M710 and Dell EqualLogic SAN at 47.5% outpaced the nearest competitor.
