Dell Latitude Z 600 business notebook with wireless charging technology
Dell has introduced its business laptop series and new wireless charging technology for other Dell system. The new business laptop is Dell Latitude Z 600. It is boasts with an Intel Core 2 Duo SU9400 or SU9600 processor with low power consumption and clock frequency of 1.4GHz and 1.6GHz, respectively. The Dell Latitude Z 600 has brings up to 4GB, dual solid state drives (SSD) with total capacity of 512GB, a 16-inch display with resolution of 1600×900 pixels, and provides a 2-megapixel webcam.
One of the features is optional wireless recharging system which is recharging the battery when the battery charge accumulates through a special stand that generates an electromagnetic field.
Dell Latitude Z 600 Laptop is fitted with a quick-boot environment in “Latitude On“. Thanks to the support ARM chip and compact Linux platform, users can get quick access to frequently used applications (mail client, browser, etc.) without having to load Windows OS. Usage ARM chips makes the laptop into a Smartphone-like device.
Finally, the Dell Latitude Z 600 comes with Wi-Fi 802.11 a/g/n and mobile broadband connectivity through 3G or WiMax networks. Dell Latitude Z 600 will be sold for an estimated start price of US$1,999. According to Dell, it is available in the U.S., Canada and certain countries in Europe and Asia.
