Dell Mini 3i smart phones debuts China Mobile and Claro, officially
Dell officially introduced its first smart phone, Mini 3i. Recall, August 18, the American manufacturer, Dell introduced the Dell Mini 3i in China, but the next day denied the information about the announcement, saying that the Chinese presentation was shown only a prototype.
Today, Dell announced that Dell Mini 3i will be sold in China’s mobile phone operator, China Mobile, and the mobile phone network in Brazil, Claro. The Chinese version of Dell Mini 3i will be designed for networks of GSM/GPRS/EDGE and sale in the earlier this year, while the Brazilians will get 3G modification of the smart phone and to the end of the year.
Timing of the emergence of new products in other markets is not yet reported. Dell only mentions that it has established contacts with operators; Vodafone (Europe, New Zealand and Australia), Verizon Wireless and AT&T (USA), M1 and Starhub (Singapore) and Maxis (Malaysia).
Information about the characteristics of Dell Mini 3i, manufacturer has not yet confirmed. However, previously reported that the Dell Mini 3i is equipped with a 3.5-inch touchscreen with 640×360 pixel (made of capacitive technology), 3-megapixel camera with autofocus, flash and video recording at 30 frames per second, GPS receiver module, Bluetooth 2.0 + EDR, USB 2.0, slot for microSD memory card, and 950 mAh battery. It is running on Google Android.
