Dell P2210, E190S, and E170S: eco-friendly monitors
Dell introduced a few new monitors, including models P2210, E190S and E170S, which placed emphasis on “green” environmental friendliness, eco-friendly monitor. 22-inch Dell P2210 has a resolution 1680 x 1050 and interfaces connect VGA, DVI-D with the protocol data protection HDCP, as well as DisplayPort. The device also has four USB 2.0 ports and can operate as a network hub. According to the manufacturer, the materials monitor has used with low content of halogen in order to reduce environmental damage. This monitor complies with EPEAT Gold and Energy Star.
Two other models are the entry-level products. 19-inch Dell E190S has a maximum resolution of 1280 x 1024, contrast ratio 800:1 and brightness of 250 cd/m2. It only has one VGA-port and it is designed for use in the office and home. The device complies with Energy Star and EPEAT Gold, while for manufacturing use halogen-free laminates and the 25% monitor chassis is composed of recycled plastic.
Finally, 17-inch Dell E170S supports Resolution 1280 x 1024, equipped with a VGA-port, and it has the same environmental characteristics as the previous model. New Dell P2210, E190S and E170S monitors already appeared for sale at a price of $ 240, $ 130 and $ 110 respectively.
