Dell Streak tablet hits Australia from October 1st

Dell will bring its Android-based tablet to Australia from October 1st, the Dell Streak. It will available via Optus for free on contract with a $59 monthly plan, or for $649 outright. The Dell Streak will be Australia’s first Android tablet.
As remind you, Dell Streak tablet is runs on Android 1.6 OS but upgradeable later to 2.1 and 2.2 Froyo. It is boasts a 1GHz processor and 16GB of internal memory.
The Dell Streak Android tablet has features a 5-inch WVGA display, Wi-Fi, HSPA, GPS, 5MP autofocus camera, a microSD card slot, and 3.5mm headset jack.
