Dell tests Google Chrome OS

Dell said in a statement that it considered the possibility of installing Chrome OS on their computers on a trial basis, and will join together with other manufacturers to mass deployment of new operating system from Google, only it comes to successfully acquire a stable which cover at least the level of its original media.

“Dell evaluates new technologies as part of managing our product development process and for consideration in future teams” said company spokesman David Frink, a first in relation to this refusal, which was in the presentation of Google Chrome OS.

It is rare that DELL has not been one of the first companies to respond to the announcement of Chrome OS, and this was one of the first manufacturers who invested in alternatives to Windows and install GNU / Linux Ubuntu on their netbooks and MIDs.

The reasoning that DELL has given the press to justify their decision to change has been very clear, because other manufacturers choose to install Chrome OS on their computers, they logically cannot be left out of the project, but neither wants to give away the user operating system that shines more for its popularity and novelty for its own potential as a service.
