Dell Venue Android Smartphone in South Korea

Dell Inc. and KT, South Korean mobile operator, announced the release of new smartphone, the Dell Venue, which can be called ‘cousin’ of Dell Venue Pro.

The handset is previous codename the Dell Thunder. The Dell Venue will not have the QWERTY keyboard but the layout of buttons and the shape are very much like the Dell Venue Pro.

It is running on Android 2.2 OS Froyo and has a 4.1-inch touchscreen AMOLED display with curved Gorilla Glass screen.

The cost of Dell Venue smartphone in South Korea is 700,000 KRW (around $600). The Dell Venue will be available end of this month via KT carrier.
