Dell has joined the company manufacturers of smartphones today presented new Windows Phone 7 device. They are announcing the Dell Venue Pro, which was formerly known as the Dell Lightning.

The Dell Venue Pro smartphone is made in the bottom slide-out QWERTY keyboard.

Dell Venue Pro has brings a 4.1-inch capacitive touchscreen AMOLED display with resolution of 480 x 800 pixels (WVGA), support for multitouch, and Gorilla Glass for durability and scratch resistance.

There are MicroUSB port, 3.5mm headphone jack, a 5 megapixel camera with LED flash, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and GPS.

The new Dell Venue Pro WP7 smartphone is boasts a 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor. More complete specifications of Dell Venue Pro will be published later.

The handset will be distribute in the U.S. market via T-Mobile USA and will be available this holiday season.
