Dell Vostro 1220 notebook officially launches

A few days ago we talked about the alleged leakage of Dell Vostro 1220 and Dell has officially announced today. The specifications mentioned above are almost equal in the new Dell ultra-portable.

The Dell Vostro 1220 has features a 12.1-inch glossy display that comes up to 1280 x 800 pixels, Intel Centrino 2 processor 2.20GHz (with a choice of 2.4GHz Intel Core 2 Duo). We can choose between a 160GB 5400rpm or a 250 GB/320 GB 7200rpm hard drive, Dell also allow us to choose 1GB or 2GB of RAM and a 4-cell battery or offers a 6-cell battery that promised a lifetime of up to 9 hours.

But there is something that is not quite sure who actually is an ultra-portable born since the weight of the Vostro 1220 comes to 3.4 kilograms, which is not very common among this class of laptops, however has been classified as such.

Dell Vostro 1220 brings 1.3MP web camera, gigabit Ethernet, Wi-Fi, FireWire, three USB 2.0, VGA output, ExpressCard slot, and Bluetooth 2.1. This notebook is available worldwide now and starting from the most basic configuration for $799.
