Dell XPS 15z thin notebook just listed
Dell has recently a new Sandy Bridge-powered notebook, the Dell XPS 15z. According to manufacture, it is the world’s thinnest 15.6-inch laptop (about 24.7 mm thick and weighs 2.5 kg).
Dell XPS 15z notebook is boasts a 2nd generation Core i5 and i7 processor, up to 8GB of RAM, and up to 750GB hard drive (7,200 rpm). There are DVD write, a 9-in-1 card reader, 1.3-megapixel camera with dual microphones, Gigabit Ethernet LAN, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, and Bluetooth 3.0.
The Dell XPS 15z Sandy Bridge laptop packs a 15.6-inch WLED-backlit display with a resolution of 1366 x 768 or 1920 x 1080 pixels, and GeForce GT 525M graphics with 1GB or 2GB of memory. There are HDMI 1.4 and mini DisplayPort outputs to connect an external monitor, and two USB 3.0 ports.
New XPS 15z notebook is Intel Wireless Display (WiDi) technology, which allows users to wirelessly transfer to HD content. Its battery is enabling up to eight hours of run time. It is pre-loaded with Windows 7 Home Premium OS and starting price from $999.
