Dell has recently introduced its unusual all-in-one PC, the Dell XPS 18 during SXSW event this week. New hybrid device has a desktop form factor consist of its display, keyboard, and mouse. But the most interesting and innovative Windows 8 machine is allows to be used as a home tablet. The Dell XPS 18 tablet has integrated kickstand on the back.
The XPS 18 double all-in-one / tablet has a 18.4-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, 89 degrees viewing angles, 16:9 aspect ratio, a color gamut of 72 percent, 10-point touch input, and brightness of 350nits. This all-in-one Windows 8 tablet / desktop PC boast a either of low-end Pentium or Intel 3rd-generation Core i3 / i5 / i7 processors.
Dell XPS 18 hybrid brings 4GB / 8GB of RAM, hybrid small flash storage for fast booting with 320GB / 500GB hard drive, or 256GB / 512GB solid state drive. New tablet/desktop is built-in rechargeable battery that enabling for up to 5 hours of usage. In connectivity term, the Dell XPS 18 provides two USB 3.0 and one USB 2.0 ports. Moreover, this device has an 8-in-1 media card reader.
There is no word on pricing yet but the Dell XPS 18 is expected debut on April 16th.
