DFI Blood Iron P45-T2RS Elite: cheap motherboard for overclocking
DFI is developing a new motherboard on P45 chipset. Novelty called Blood Iron P45-T2RS Elite should be a very affordable solution, which, however, will be equipped with some of the features for overclocking. It is an improved version of the motherboard P45-T2RS with an improved layout of the printed circuit board and other chip LAN.
Motherboard Blood Iron P45-T2RS Elite is equipped with one PCIe x16 slot and three PCIe x1, so it does not support the regime CrossFire. Nevertheless, it can work with the Intel Core 2 Quad and Duo, it has four slots for DDR2 667/800/1066 memory of up to 8 GB of DIMM-modules, and supports the system bus frequency of 800/1066/1333 MHz.
Motherboard is equipped with one IDE port, and six SATA II, 12 ports USB 2.0, integrated chip Realtek ALC885, provides 8-channel HD-audio as well as the LED for program debugging. The system BIOS supports fine-tune voltages to various components. In addition, according to the DFI, the new version of the motherboard solved the problem of automatic switch off during the crackdown, so that when you change the parameters of the system bus and memory, the computer will not be switched off by itself. Mass production Motherboard DFI Blood Iron P45-T2RS Elite should begin as early as next week.
