DigiCube MIDPhone-50, MID and mobile phone on Intel Atom [Computex 2009]
DigiCube presented at Computex, the MID, MIDPhone-50. It probably can be attributed to a class of mobile Internet devices (MID), but in addition, the device supports phone functions. MIDPhone-50 is a slider with a sliding QWERTY keyboard, the display can be set at an angle to the keyboard. Design of this model, the company decided to diversify from several plant ornaments on the shell around the display. DigiCube MIDPhone-50 has 4.8-inch display.
MIDPhone-50 specifications are quite decent: Intel Atom Z series processor, a rather large amount of memory, camera, wireless modules and support of cellular networks 3.5G. However, a significant drawback is surprisingly little time, autonomous operation is only about 2 hours. It is anticipated that the ODM manufacturers or operators will be able to take MIDPhone-50 based on refers design and produce under their brands.
