Did you remember MID-G400 device with WiMAX functionality, which the dmedia had planned to demonstrate at CES 2009? It has been nearly three months, but the promised release never happened. Instead, the company announced the development of an updated version of the mobile Internet devices (MID), which, as now promised, will see the light at the Computex exhibition entitled dmedia M0 WiMAX MID.
Reportedly, the MID updated device will be a little thicker and more of his predecessor. Its dimensions are 137 x 74 x 14.5 mm, weight of slightly more than 200 grams. In addition, dmedia M0 equipped with WiMAX module Fujitsu production, 4.3 inch WVGA touch screen, a 5MP camera with autofocus and video recording function, as well as the 0.3 MP web camera. There are GPS embedded modules and Bluetooth 2.0 EDR, as well as the function of receiving mobile TV.
Note that the dmedia M0 MID device should have shown more at the Mobile World Congress, February ago, but at this exhibition, it was not observed. We hope that the third attempt proved successful, and we did see this WiMAX board at the Computex next June.
