DreamPlug Tiny Computer into Socket
Globalscale Technologies has developed a tiny computer that plugs directly into a wall outlet. The new device is called the DreamPlug.
New small computer is powered by a 1.2GHz Marvell Sheeva processor, 512MB of RAM, and 1GB flash storage. The DreamPlug tiny computer has two Gigabit Ethernet LANs, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, eSATA 2.0, SD slot, two USB 2.0 ports, S/PDIF, jacks for microphone and headphones.
It is lack video port, however, according to manufacture, it is not necessary since the DreamPlug is designed to manage the smart home, security systems and monitoring, and so on.
Globalscale DreamPlug is runs on Linux OS and only 5W power consumption. Dimensions of DreamPlug are 110 x 70 x 49 mm. The cost of DreamPlug small computer should be $149 and will be released later this month.
