ECS A885GM-M2 and A885GM-A2 motherboards for six-core AMD CPU
Elitegroup Computer Systems (ECS) has announced two newest AMD 800 Series-based motherboards, namely ECS A885GM-M2 and ECS A885GM-A2. Both ECS motherboards are supports hexa-core processors, the AMD Phenom II X6 (Thuban).
Both new motherboards are based on AMD 880G/SB850 chipset, designed to work with six-, dual-, triple-, and quad-core AM3 socket and integrated ATI Radeon HD 4250 graphics controller. The ECS A885GM-M2 and A885GM-A2 motherboards are enabling up to five drive with Serial ATA 3.0 interface (SATA 6Gbps) and supported RAID 0,1,5,10 configuration.
ECS A885GM-M2 is made in micro ATX form factor. It has two slots for DDR3-1333 memory modules, one PCI Express x16 slot, Gigabit Ethernet LAN, and 6-channel (5.1) HD audio codec. ECS A885GM-M2 is equipped with HDMI and D-Sub.
ECS A885GM-A2 is a full ATX form factor. It is equipped with four DDR3-1600 memory slots, two PCI Express x16 slots, Gigabit Ethernet, 8-channel (7.1) HD audio codecs, ports D-Sub and DVI.
These ECS motherboards are supporting ECS eOC (Overclocking Utility) and ECS M.I.B III (Motherboard Intelligent BIOS), as well as technology for easily, safe, fast update the BIOS, the ECS eBLU (easy Bios Live Update utility) and eDLU (easy Driver Live Update utility).
