Elephone P6000 Android Lollipop smartphone with new 64-bit MediaTek chip

Elephone will launch its upcoming Android smartphone, which will have a quite an interesting specs-sheet. The handset is namely the Elephone P6000 that has similar in term of design from the Xiaomi Mi2. According to rumors, the phone is going development at this moment but we have some specifications. New Elephone P6000 will become one of the first smartphone to pumping life from the 64-bit quad-core MediaTek MT6732 chipset. Alongside 64-bit four core chipset, this platform is consist of ARM Cortex A53 CPU and ARM Mali-760 GPU inside. It delivers low on battery consumption but keeps high performance and efficient compatibility even with 32-bit applications.



Thus, Elephone P6000 smartphone will bring Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system to responsible on their software. Although as budget smartphone, its 5-inch HD display is covered by Blue Light Tempered Glass, which enables filter out all high-frequency blue light. That means users can enjoy see everything better from 5-inch screen.


The P6000 is built-in H.265 HEVC video coding standard that support for 1080 (1920 x 1080 pixels) video resolution and pretty works with transmitting quality video under limited bandwidth network. This rate is an improved version from the H.264 standard.

Based on the rumors making rounds on the web, the Elephone P6000 phone will hit the street at just $170 (about €137).
