Elonex introduced new ebook reader in the UK. Elonex eBook Model is equipped with 6-inch display, uses innovative electronic paper (e-Ink) technology. According to the manufacturer, the memory device has along with the 4 GB card, enough to store approximately 8,000 electronic books. A battery Elonex eBook is enough to read 8000 pages, without the need for recharging. This is, on average, three months of reading. The device is quite compact: its thickness is not more than 9 mm, weight is 180 grams.
Elonex eBook has taken care of people with low vision with easy on the eye, a device supports 8 different font sizes. In addition, the memory e-book is already loaded Sudoku game. Downloading content to Elonex eBook users will be able from a new web-store, Borders eBook Download Store. This service is open specifically to release e-book, its catalog includes 45,000 books. Sales of new products has already begun in the Borders UK bookstores, its cost is 189 pounds (about $311). The device comes with preloaded 100 already e-book.
