Emporia Elegance and Solid handsets for older users [MWC 2010]

Austrian Company, Emporia has produces two new mobile phones for the elderly segment, Emporia Elegance and Emporia Solid that announced at Mobile World Congress 2010 (MWC 2010). It is aimed at older users with attractive, easy to use, and simplicity in a mobile phone.

Both new Emporia phones are compatible with hearing aids. In addition, they have loud speakers, and their menu is decorated with large fonts. Emporia Elegance and Solid phones used a 1.8-inch OLED display with high contrast.

Emporia Solid is encased in a waterproof, dirt proof, and ruggedized phone. It is equipped with Bluetooth support. Battery of Emporia Solid and Emporia is provides up to three hours of talk time and up to 250 hours in standby mode. It is supported GSM 900/1800 MHz network. Emporia Elegance will be available in the Q2 2010 for €129, while Emporia Solid will be available in Q3 2010 for € 199.

As mentions, Sagem also introduced similar device for older users, namely Sagem Cosyphone.
