Foremay has recently announced new solid state drives (SSD) namely the Foremay EC188 M-series. The drives are designed for high-performance servers and workstations.

The Foremay EC188 M-series SSD is use SATA 3.0, which provides up to 6 Gbps. It is maximum read and write of up to 450 MB/s and 350 MB/s respectively.

Foremay EC188 M-series are compatible with all popular operating systems including Linux, OpenSolaris, Solaris, FreeBSD, HP-UX, Unix, Windows and Mac OS X. It is expected that the Foremay EC188 M-series will be used in servers that support the work of large databases, cloud platforms, as well as powerful computers, enterprise-class.

The Foremay EC188 SSD is coming with up to 500GB of capacities.

In the Foremay EC188 family is also includes models with SATA II interface and 2.5-inch, 3.5-inch form factor, up to 1TB and 2TB, respectively.
