Fujitsu FMV LOOX C CULV Notebook
Fujitsu Japan has announced its first ultraportable notebook running on energy efficient platform, Intel CULV. Novelty called FMV LOOX C and has a display with a diagonal of 11.6-inch and a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels. Fujitsu FMV LOOX C Laptop will be released in two versions; a single-core 1.2GHz Intel Celeron SU2300 and a dual-core 1.4GHz Intel Core 2 Duo SU9400 CPU. In addition, CULV platform includes GS45 Express chipset and integrated GMA 4500MHD graphics.
Fujitsu FMV LOOX C notebook is equipped with 2GB of RAM, 320GB hard drive, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n and Bluetooth 2.1 EDR, as well as multi-format card reader. The Fujitsu FMV LOOX C includes three USB 2.0 port, audio ports, VGA and Ethernet connectors. In addition, different versions of laptop are using different batteries. Fujitsu FMV LOOX C/E70 “dual-core” is able to work out up to 9.2 hours battery life, while a Fujitsu FMV LOOX C/E50 “single core” is provides only 6.2 hours of battery life.
Fujitsu FMV LOOX C Notebook has weighs 1.6kg and will be available in black, blue and red colors of the shell. In Japan, its sales will begin end of this month, and Fujitsu FMV LOOX C/E50 version goes on sale October 27 for $890, and more productive model, Fujitsu FMV LOOX C/E70 will go on sale on October 29 and it will cost $1113.
