Fujitsu KBPC PX ECO Green Keyboard
Fujitsu introduced its first eco-friendly keyboard, namely Fujitsu KBPC PX ECO. It is made from renewable materials using injection moulding technology that saving CO2 emissions by moving away from plastic components.
It is reported that the new production technology is reduce carbon emissions by eliminating the use of 45% of plastic components with materials from renewable sources (in other words, a bioplastic). Two main components of the Fujitsu KBPC PX ECO keyboard consist of biodegradable materials. Thus, the palm rest is made from an ARBOFORM material. The Fujitsu KBPC PX ECO keyboard base is made entirely from BIOGRADE, which is a form of cellulose acetate. Also the keyboard’s USB cable is also PVC-free.
According to manufacture, this eco keyboard is easy on the environment but still offers a rich level of comfort, plus premium features, including five additional function keys those providing single-keystroke shortcuts to popular applications. In addition, it has detachable palm-rest warmer and an ergonomic design for maximum typing comfort.
There is no word on pricing or release date but this Fujitsu eco keyboard is expected available for order immediately.
