Fujitsu LifeBook T730 Convertible Notebook with dual-mode digitizer
Fujitsu is quietly released its latest convertible notebook, called Fujitsu LifeBook T730. This notebook is a multifunction convertible notebook as standard with an active digitizer (uses a special stylus) and a dual-mode panel (uses both stylus and multitouch finger gestures).
Fujitsu LifeBook T730 has a 12.1-inch LED backlight display with resolution of 1280×800 pixels, 200 or 300 cd/m2 (depending on configuration), and multitouch supported.
It is powered by Intel Core i5-520M, Core i5-540M or Core i7-620M (2.93GHz, 3.06GHz and 3.33GHz, respectively), and a 500GB hard drive or up to 256GB of SSD, as well as 8GB of DDR3 RAM 1066 MHz. The Fujitsu LifeBook T730 model is equipped with VGA, HDMI, FireWire, Ethernet, three USB ports, two microphones, headphones and microphone jack, an ExpressCard/54 card, card reader (MS/SD), Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and optional 2MP webcam.
In addition, Fujitsu LifeBook T730 comes with DVD burner, which can be replaced either by an additional battery or hard drive. Its battery is up to 5hrs 25 minutes with standard 5,200mAh pack or up to 9hours 20 minutes with expansion battery. It is pre-loaded with Windows OS 7.
The basic version of Fujitsu LifeBook T730 comes with 2GB of RAM, Core i5-520M, and basic active digitizer. It has priced at $1,869. An extra $250 is for full touchscreen and a Core i7-620M CPU.
