Fujitsu LifeBook UH900 multi-touch UMPC debuts US

Fujitsu has placed in American shores the multi-touch UMPC, known as Fujitsu LifeBook UH900. It was first demonstrated in the autumn of last year. Fujitsu LifeBook UH900 packs a 5.6-inch touchscreen display with resolution of WXGA (1366×768 pixels).

Fujitsu LifeBook UH900 American version is available in only one configuration, a 1.6GHz Intel Atom Z530 processor, 2GB RAM, a 62GB SSD, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth, and GPS. New Fujitsu LifeBook UH900 netbook is pre-loaded with Windows 7 Home Premium.

It is offered as part of a special that either a 160GB Edge DiskGo portable hard drive or a Lexmark X2670 all-in-one printer. Fujitsu LifeBook UH900 has price of $850 after factoring in a mail-in $150 rebate.

Its battery is enabling up to three hours of operation. Dimensions of Fujitsu LifeBook UH900 are 204x107x24 mm and weight is less than 500g.
