Fusion-io joint Fatal1ty, High Speed ioXtreme SSD with PCI-Express

The E3 exhibition game technologies, held in Los Angeles, Fusion-io, together with a world’s best known PC gamer, Johnathan “Fatal1ty” Wendel introduced a new high-speed ioXtreme SSD, designed to work in high-performance computers and workstations, using 64 bit operating systems.

ioXtreme SSD is an expansion card inserted into PCI-Express slot on the motherboard. Through high-speed performance, it demonstrates, far exceeding the performance hard drive, which eliminates delays in a number of applications. Storage capacity of 80 GB of nonvolatile memory and enables speed operations such as file access, as well as the progress of loading system and data transfer. Release ioXteme SSD scheduled for July, the cost of $895.
