G-Technology G-DRIVE mobile, external HDDs

As an official Leadership Sponsor of the 2010 Sundance Film Festival, January 21-31, 2010, in Park City, Utah, the G-Technology by Hitachi has introduced its latest storage solutions, the G-DRIVE mobile USB and the G-DRIVE mobile portable hard drive. Both G-Technology storages are designed to look good beside a Mac.

The new G-Technology drives are supports Time Machine for simple automated backups. They are brings 2.5-inch HDD 5400rpm and have USB 2.0 (G-DRIVE mobile USB) or USB/FireWire (G-DRIVE mobile) connectivity. According to source, both external hard drives are an affordable solution for easily storing music, photos, documents and other creative files.

The 500GB G-Technology G-DRIVE mobile USB will be available on market in mid-February with price of $140, while the 500GB G-Technology G-DRIVE mobile will debut on market in March 2010 with cost of $160.
