Garmin Astro 220, silently keep track

Garmin has introduced GPS dog tracking systems, Garmin Astro 220. It is designed with hunters and sportsmen in mind, you can silently keep track of your dog. Its device has extremely easy to set-up, includes a handheld GPS device and a brightly colored screen.
The system comes with two separated devices, a portable receiver (Garmin Astro 220) and an integrated GPS transmitter collar (Garmin Astro Collar DC 30).
Garmin Astro 220 feature Astro’s Covey Counter which allows saving and marking locations, time time of day, number of birds, specific location.
Garmin Astro 220 handheld has a 1.5×2.2 inch display with Resolution 160 x 240 pixels. Its dimensions are 2.3×6.3×1.3 inch and weight is 6.5 oz (without batteries). A Garmin Astro 220 device can handle up to 10 dogs.
Garmin Astro Collar DC 30 brings a separate GPS antenna; it is on the top of collar strap. According source, its sight is up to 7 miles depending on the terrain. Also this DC 30 will transmit to handheld as every five seconds.
This system has provided barometric altimeter, microSD card slot, area calculator, an electronic compass, and celestial information. Also it is rugged device and IPX7 waterproof.
It is now available in Spain and will cost 648 EUR (in US market $599.99).
