Garmin has announced its update GPS 72H Marine Handheld. This Garmin GPS is suitable and made for boaters, it has promises high-sensitivity GPS receiver, a fast USB interface, ability to float, and more features.
Garmin GPS 72 Marine Handheld has been available since 2002; it is a simple browser, reliable, and rugged. And now, Garmin has upgraded it, to be GPS 72H Marine Handheld that will get faster and more reliably. It is capable to stores up to 500 waypoints and 50 routes.
The new features from 72H are ability to transfer tracks, waypoints, and routes through its USB interface. The battery of Garmin Marine GPS 72H is provides about 18 hours.
It also similar with previous model, the 72H is completely waterproof to IPX-7 standards (up to 30 minutes in one meter of water). Garmin GPS 72 Marine Handheld brings features built-in celestial data, including hunting almanac and a fishing, tide tables, and sunrise/sunset times.
Garmin GPS 72H Marine Handheld will be available in October 2009 and its cost is $150.
