Gateway FX, DX and SX Desktops

Acer subsidiary Gateway has expanded the range of desktop computers, they are Gateway FX, DX and SX series. The most powerful is Gateway FX series (Gateway FX6831-01 and Gateway FX6831-03) that designed for gaming and multimedia tasks. Gateway FX series desktop is built on a 2.8GHz Intel Core i7-860 quad core processor with Turbo Boost technology support, 8GB/16GB of RAM, a 1.5TB hard drive (7200 rpm), an ATI Radeon HD 5850 discrete graphics with 1GB of memory, and DVD writer and/or Blu-ray drive. Cost of Gateway FX series desktop is ranges from $1,300 to $1,700.

Gateway DX series desktop (Gateway DX4831-03) is a multimedia desktop. It packs 3.2GHz Intel Core i5-650 CPU, 8GB of RAM, a 1TB hard drive, DVD writer and Blu-ray drive, a GeForce GT220 graphics card with 1GB of memory. Price of Gateway DX series desktop is starts from $850.

Gateway SX series desktop PC (Gateway SX2840-01) is made in small form factor (SFF). The Gateway SX series comes with a 2.93GHz Intel Core i3-530 processor, 6GB of RAM, a 1TB HDD, an Intel GMA X4500HD integrated graphics, and DVD writer. Gateway SX series desktop is offered at prices ranging from $560.

All of Gateway desktops are pre-installed Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit.
