Gateway LT22 and LT32 AMD-powered netbook

Gateway, a member of Acer, has officially announced new a pair of netbooks in Canada, called the Gateway LT22 and the Gateway LT32. Basically, the Gateway LT32 is rebranded model of Acer Aspire One 721.

The Gateway LT22 netbook is based on AMD Nile platform and a smaller chassis than Gateway LT32. It is boasted by a 1.7GHz AMD Athlon II Neo K125 processor, and ATI Radeon HD 4225 graphics. New Gateway LT22 can packs a 10.1-inch LED backlit display with resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels, 250GB hard drive, 2 GB of DDR3 RAM, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Gigabit Ethernet, web camera, two USB 2.0 ports, HDMI, and a multiformat card reader. It has brings a 6-cell battery that enabling up to 6.5 hours of run time and pre-loaded with Windows 7 Starter.

The Gateway LT32 netbook is virtually identical inside to the Gateway LT22. But the LT32 is sports an 11.6-inch HD LED-backlit display with 1366 x 768 pixel resolutions and pre-installed with Windows 7 Home Premium OS.

New Gateway LT32 is currently available at suggested retail price of CAD $449.99 while the Gateway LT22 is already available for price tag CAD $349.99.
