General Dynamics has submitted new rugged laptop, called Tadpole TOPAZ. It is designed to work in extreme conditions with military power-users and multiple security levels and multiple networks operating at different levels.

The General Dynamics Tadpole TOPAZ notebook is made in accordance with MIL-STD-810F and MIL-STD-461E that currently fielded by the U.S. military. It also has integrated Trusted Platform Module (TPM) V1.2.

Tadpole TOPAZ rugged notebook comes with a 2.93GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor (T9400), 8GB of DDR3 SDRAM, and up to 500GB hard drive.

It is boasts a 15.1-inch DynaVue daylight viewable display with resolution of 1400×1050 pixels, an integrated GMA 4500MHD graphics, Wi-Fi, DVD drive, and Gigabit Ethernet.

Size of General Dynamics Tadpole TOPAZ is 375x310x60 mm and weight 5kg with battery. It is pre-installed with Windows, Linux or Solaris OS.
