General Imaging G3WP waterproof compact camera
General Imaging has introduced its first waterproof compact camera. It is called General Imaging G3WP and is equipped with a matrix with a 12.2MP sensor, lens with a 4x optical zoom and a 4.5x digital zoom. In addition, thanks to a robust housing allows the camera to shoot even underwater at a depth of up to about three meters (nearly 10 feet).
General Imaging G3WP compact camera has a 2.7-inch TFT color LCD display (234,000 pixels), 116 MB of internal memory and a slot for SD/SDHC memory card (up to 8G support). In addition, the technology supports PictBridge, which gives the opportunity to print photos directly from your camera, and there are many shooting modes. Among other things, there are functions of Face Detection, Smile and Blink, image stabilization system and reduce red-eye, and the level of sensitivity can be adjusted from ISO 64 to 3200.
Its dimensions are 3.7×2.4×0.9 (WxHxD) and weight is approx. 120g (body only). General Imaging G3WP Camera will be available in mid-October in blue, gray and red colors. It will cost at $199.
