General Mobile DSTL1, Android smartphone on sale in late June

One of the Android phones that were showing in the MWC was General Mobile DSTL1, incorporating a number of characteristics that made it quite different from what had been announced by other manufacturers.

Finally its phone ready to put on sale and it will be available in United States and Turkey by end of June. Later, as other countries come to Russia or Germany. Its price is around $550 and $750, slightly higher for their services.

Performance among them is support for dual SIM cards at the same time, something we wanted to test as implemented in Android manufacturer. In return, it does not offer 3G connectivity, but it is something that some users will appreciate, therefore prefer to use only Wi-Fi connectivity and not depend on the flat rates offered by the operators.

This DSTL1 has features a 624MHz Marvell PX310A processor and it should run Google’s Android v1.5 “Cupcake” operating system more “enjoy”. Photographic section also highlights the General Mobile DSTL1 because it comes with a 5 megapixel autofocus camera with flash, it was manufactured by Sony.

There is 3.0-inch WQVGA LCD resistive touchscreen display and it was manufactured by Sharp. However, its screen like a little less, because the resolution of 400 x 240 pixels, as all models have been presented with Android so far.

It complements an FM radio tuner, Bluetooth 2.0 connectivity and comes with a 4GB MicroSD card and will be capable of accepting 16GB, a leather case, an extra battery and a desktop charger.

General Mobile DSTL1 is includes 2.5G connectivity with tri-band (900/1800/1900MHz) GSM/EDGE support.
