Getac PS236 rugged handheld with GPS, e-compass, and altimeter
Getac introduced the rugged computers in PDA handheld, Getac PS236. It is made based on the Marvell PXA310 processor with a clock frequency of 806 MHz and has a 3.5-inch touch screen display with VGA resolution of 480×640 pixels, its screen allows user to read even in bright sunlight with sunlight readability and Transflective Panel technology.
Getac PS236 is runs under Windows Mobile 6.1 OS. And this PDA supports the functionality of 3G, it has wireless modules Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g and Bluetooth 2.0, as well as GPS SiRF Star III with support for geotagging, digital compass, altimeter and accelerometer. Getac PS236 handheld has a built-in flash memory 4GB and 128MB of RAM. With a memory card slot, it can add more storage up to 12GB. On the back of the PDA has a 3-megapixel camera with autofocus and flash.
Getac PS236 is certified by the standards of IP67 and MIL-STD-810F. Dimensions of Getac PS236 are 179x97x37 mm and weighs 490 grams. Rechargeable battery enables battery life up to 10 hours. Currently, information about the early sales of Getac PS236 is not informed.
