Getac has recently introduced the latest version of its fully rugged convertible tablet, known as the Getac V100. According to manufacture, the device is the fastest dual-core processor of any rugged convertible on the market and up to 47% faster than its predecessor by combining Turbo Boost Technology. It is upgrading including a 1.2GHz Intel Core i7-640UM dual-core processor with support Intel Turbo Boost and several new features.

Getac V100 popular rugged convertible laptop is packs a 10.4-inch touchscreen LED-backlit display with resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels, multitouch supported, and Getac’s QuadraClear technology that ensures readability even in direct sunlight.

The Getac V100 is enclosed in a magnesium alloy enclosure, meet the US military standard MIL-STD-810G and IP65 compliant. It is also noted that he had a waterproof keyboard. The model is ready for almost any environment or extreme working conditions.

Getac V100 has brings shock mounted 320GB hard drive (with sealed I/O caps and doors that prevent damage from any solid particles, moisture, sudden impacts often associated field applications), 83-key membrane keyboard, 2-megapixel camera with the ability to rotate 200 degrees, a slot for SD and PCMCIA, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 2.1, and Gigabit Ethernet. The durable tablet is pre-loaded with Windows 7 OS (downgradable to Windows XP).

The optional include GPS, dual-touch mode (multi-touch and digitizer), 83-key waterproof backlit rubber keyboard, 80GB SATA SSD drive, fingerprint reader, and 3G Gobi 2000 modem.
